Broken hinge pushing on screen

Hi everyone. The left hinge on my HP laptop has broken in a very weird way. As you can see the broken hinge is pushing up against the screen and when I try moving the screen I can see pressure marks being applied from inside the screen. Do you guys know if hp has to fix this for me or not? The laptop is out of warranty unfortunately. I'd try replacing the hinge myself but since it's pushing against the screen I'm scared of doing any work on it.

I request you talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
2. Select the country.
3. Enter the serial of your device.
4. Select the country from the drop-down.
5. Click on "Show Options".
6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you
