Hello

I went through some community posts and found that my issue is actually common which make it more obvious that the problem is the poor quality parts and faulty manufacturing of this laptop

Two days ago, I opened my laptop and one of the hinges popped out and that caused the screen to crack from the bottom corner. The laptop has never been dropped or anything. I was opening it normally and the hinge popped out. I have been communicating with hp customer support for 2 days now and they keep insisting that it is my fault and that I have to pay for the repair. How is your poor quality product is my fault?! I had an Asus ROG laptop before for around 8 years and I didn't have a single issue, I guess it was a huge mistake switching to hp. It is quite upsetting to see how common the issue is and still hp doesn't even want to honour their own faulty products.

Horrible experience really
