I have an ENVY laptop. Since buying it, I barely used it until recently. After 3 months of regular use, a horrible crunching sound happened and popped the screen  and bottom out. 2 hairline cracks appeared on the screen. I contacted HP who have been very evasive and refuse to take responsibility. Having done my own research, I have since discovered the 'Carson case' and many many others who have had the same problem. Despite the consumer rights of 2015, they're still trying to ignore me. This isn’t acceptable. I have sent photos, I have had to make regular phone calls to chase things up and still, it feels like I'm getting nowhere! I'm again waiting for a call back but I won't hold my breath. I have spoke about team off the TV who deal in consumer issues and they are interested in this given that its a wider issue and will be happy to act on my behalf. HP, you cannot expect someone to pay near £800 for a laptop with a proven design flaw and not expect the fix the problem. It is up fair and unjust!
