Product: HP 470 G7 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a one-year old HP 470 G7 Notebook PC (Product9NL37UT) and the N key broke off. I cannot find a replacement at any of the vendors online. HP Support tells me I have to purchase a new keyboard and have it technician installed. This is way too expensive for a $1 key. Any ideas where I might find one?

unfortunately, you have to replace entire keyboard .

this is the correct part number for the keyboard

L83727-001

Why do I have to replace the entire keyboard? For every other HP laptop ever made, you can find replacement keys available. Why is this model so different? I get it that HP only wants to recommend their own solution since that's how they make money, but there has to be a way to buy a single key somewhere.
