Broken Hinge x360 14-cd0xxx Replacement parts
The bottom right portion of my HP laptop screen began popping out a while back, and now the right hinge is completely broken as well as the plastic lid/frame. At this point, the touch screen seems to be working just fine. Do you have replacement hinge and lid top/screen bezel parts available for repair? I have done a screen replacement on a prior laptop, so am optimistic I can do a similar repair on this device. I see that there was a similar ticket filed by another customer, so I am optimistic you've experienced this before and parts are available.
Thanks. DK87AZ

@DK87AZ, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

@TEJ1602, I have still not received any follow-up communication from the HP team you referenced and the link in your message to the Forum's private message capability instructions does not work for me (lack of permissions). Can you please help me further? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I never heard from anyone at HP, and proceeded to purchase replacement parts elsewhere (via EBay). I am disappointed with HP support on this issue, especially when the issue is very obviously related to a design marginality.

Hi @DK87AZ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
