Broken screen backplate

Hello, i would like to know if you have screen assembely OR backplate for the HP Laptop 14-cf2xxx. I can't find one online and my backplate is broken. I droped the laptop by accident a few months ago and yesterday (friday the 26th of january 2024) my backplate finaly died and now my computer's screen is hanging on a single hinge. The hinges are ok but the backplate's screw hole are destroyed and also the hinge cover clips (on the backplate) are gone. Please help i use this computer for school.

14-cf2xxx is a generic identifier for the HP 14-cf2000 laptop model series.

When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue

Type in msinfo32 and press enter.


The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.

The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.



If you can't log into Windows, look on the bottom of your notebook for that information.

If you have a desktop look at the rear of your PC

Hp does not sell the display assembly.

It is by individual parts.

The Display enclosure ( it will have the screwholes that you stated are broken) That is what you are calling the backplate.
