I bought my laptop last year it’s now more than a year older.
Last Saturday, I went to plug my charger at the same exact port I used since I bought the PC and after a couple of minutes I started smelling some type of gases I tried to check around but couldn’t figure it out at the moment.
about 5 mins from then I started smelling some burning stuff and suddenly all the lights in my room has shut off.
it was my charger, this pc has it surpassed 2 years and it is fully burnt and It just got out of warranty 24th of April, keeping aside all the overheating issues I faced with it as well as the software issues with the pre installed application.
this was my first HP purchase and if sure will be my last.
now I am trying to figure out a way of purchasing the exact same 280W charger which seems to be a gemstone in the country I live in.

Hey,
first of all thank you for your fast reply.
i tried contacting them via phone and the call hasn’t even been taken. Tried several times without hope.
I am not going to send them an email because I am pretty sure this is going to take way longer than 2 weeks which is my deadline for these projects I have to work on.
i am going to try to get my burnt charger checked by some repair shops hopefully they have replacements parts for it, and the card hasn’t been damaged bcz afaik it’s not fixable.
