That picture gets used in many HP Manuals and the compatible M.2 disk does not even necessarily quite look like that (does in this case). You need your specific service manual:
Look at pages 66 and 71. On this model there is an M.2 slot but it is on the backside of the motherboard which means removing the motherboard to get to it. Fortunately we have had other Users we have followed through the whole path of upgrading this model using an M.2 and can confirm from experience it uses a SATA-III 2280 for factor M.2 disk which means something like a WD Blue or Samsung Evo 850 will work.
Good deal on a 500 gig disk:

Hello AnGo13,
What I suggest you do is go to MSINFO32.
- Hit Windows key + R
- Type "msinfo32" and hit enter
- Expand Components
- Expand Storage
- Select Disks
- Look at the model and type it into a search engine
- Voilà

Best regards,
