I've been advised by hp assistance to replace my battery but where can I find high performance battery or the original one?

There is no"authentic" battery.

 

HP is not a battery manufacturer.

If a  manufacturer  lists a battery as having an HP part number, it is required to meet the HP's specifications .

 

Just make sure it is listed buy the vendor as having an HP part number.

You can order one online from a vendor. Order by part number and make sure it is delivered with a one year warranty

6 cell, 70 Wh      L84392-006
3 cell, 52 Wh      L84394-006

 

Both batteries are compatible. The first one will give you more mobile laptop time.

Thank you so much for replying. I am looking for it on multiple sites but haven't been able to find any authentic one. There are few options on Amazon and that too have negative feedback or are unavailable. So I am stuck here. I will appreciate if someone suggest an authentic site for UK
