Product: HP ENVY Laptop - 15-ep0035cl

Hello,

Earlier this year while using my computer, my left side fan's blades snapped and the rest quickly came off (making quite a racket inside my computer!). As a result I need a full fan replacement, but have been unable to find the correct model to purchase. I tried looking on amazon and the HP Parts store to no avail. I'd appreciate advice on how to get a new one and what it would cost.

 

The service pin on the fan is M04776-001

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

The HP part number for the fan is:

 

L97401-001
FAN CPU/GPU

 

HP does not sell the fan you need.

 

The only place I could find that even lists that part number is this vendor:

 

L97401-001 - Hewlett-packard (HP) - FAN CPU/ GPU | Impact Computers

 

Apparently, there are two fans under that HP part number so according to the M04776-001 number you posted, you need the CPU fan and not the GPU fan.
