I have this issue with HP "OMEN 15-eK0000 Laptop (ek0015ns)" gaming laptop.
Every 5 to 10 seconds the laptop makes a annoying electrical buzz noise from the left side (where you usually connect power adapter) and its very noticable when you are in quiet room or so . The laptop is just one year old and i didn't notice the buzz until now. I ignored it for a while thinking its from fans.
When fans are very low (fans are quiet and almost undetectable) you can hear it very good. one guy recorded it with his phone (with phone microphone under plug in adapter) and he uploaded it on YouTube, you can hear it there, the link is: https://youtu.be/LOWl2AQ2q0A . Also he boost audio record volume with "audiotrimmer.com" on Extreme setting to hear more clearly.
Will my laptop damage in time (it's in danger, short circuit or bad cable isolation, or some crack of a power component on the motherboard where adapter is plugged in) more importantly, how I can make this annoying sound hear no more (It's frustrating and seems sometimes I can hear it more loudly)!
