Chapter 1 has the supported drive types HP offered in the model series.

Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's such as the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 (2280) Internal Solid-State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V7S250).

That would be OK to install that model drive in your notebook, but you may want to look into the newer Samsung 980 250 GB NVMe SSD which is newer technology designed to run a bit cooler than the Samsung 970.

Personally, I recommend you go with the 500 GB model because it doesn't cost much more than the 250 GB model and has twice the storage.
