CAN I PUT M.2 SSD OVER AN HDD WILL IT WORK PROPERLY?

Not sure how you picture putting one drive "over" another? What is it exactly you wish to do?

Here is the Service Manual:

This says you can install a SATA or PCIe/NVME M.2. Seems the M.2 slot is at the same level as the HDD slot and you can't have both. The picture you have posted does not show both a hard drive and an M.2. However, it also says the M.2 slot is only on "select" models. Likely those with higher end processors only. So you want to open the laptop first to see if the slot is there before buying an M.2 SSD.  See p. 42 of the Manual.
