my cdrom of hp sometimes work and sometimes  not work

My question is there any method to be  In order to make sure that the CD-ROM does not work؟

You should run a cleaner disk....you can find a CD laser lens cleaner disk at any music or electronics store. 

 

Then you can test the operation of the CD independent of Windows by seeing if you can boot the system from a bootable disk like a Windows install disk. Is it literally just CDs that are the problem or also DVDs?
