Hi, wondering where the CMOS battery is for the above specified laptop? I've looked through all the specs for it's location but have had no luck! Thanks 🙂

Click on RTC battery.

 

To get to the battery on this model you need to disassemble the whole laptop.

Click on Real Time Clock battery.

 

You would first need to look at the videos for:

 

Remove the battery, optical drive, rear corner covers, and base enclosure.

Unfortunately, that's a lot different from the 17 series which I asked the question about. I wish the cmos battery was as easy to find as in the video xD 

 

I need to find it so I can try removing it to reset the bios, as the laptop has brand new ram, and a new display, but does not post. Removing cmos batteries has resolved this issue with previous laptops that have failed to boot 😄
