Product: 15-5114dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
HP Omen 15-5114dx shows signs of a failing or failed CMOS battery.
I have looked at teardowns and even taken the bottom cover off and I do not know where to find the CMOS battery. Does anyone know where it is or if it’s possible?
This Omen is from 2015 and is in good condition as I just replaced its main battery.
Sent from somewhere in Arizona!!

No, it does NOT have RTC (CMOS) battery. Many machines now do not have RTC batteries, and many machines don't have fans.
Regards.
