i would like to know the CMOS battery code for this laptop HP Notebook 15-da1017tx

Hi:

 

Your notebook does not have a CMOS battery.

 

The main battery serves as the CMOS battery.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.

 

HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

Chapter 3 has no part number for the CMOS battery and chapter 6 has no procedure to remove or replace a CMOS battery.

 but still it shows this, so I need to change the CMOS battery, and I need to know whats the number for CMOS battery.

You have to replace the main battery.

 

Either that or your notebook's motherboard has a problem with the BIOS chip and the motherboard would need to be replaced.
