I performed an Windows 7 64biz clean install on my laptop. After installing and updating all the drivers and system software IK still have the exlamation mark in my computers icon in "Devices and Printers" group. Looking deeper the problem is the COM4 device for which I did not even know it exists (it did not under Windows XP). Trying to automatically update the driver does no good - Windows does not find any driver to update.
Location says: PCI bus 0, device 3, function 3
I suspect this to be SD card reader as it is the inly device still acting funny (will not read 64GBit SD card). I did install the proper driver for Ricoh 5in1 Media card driver downloaded from the notebooks HP support site - install did not go smoothly.
Please help with any suggestion.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer is to post the hardware ID for the device so we can figure out what it might be.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID...

First of all thank you for taking the time to look into my problem. These are the Hardware IDs of the problematic device COM4
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A47&SUBSYS_30E7103C&REV_07
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A47&SUBSYS_30E7103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A47&CC_070002
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A47&CC_0700
the search on first item answers Intel Active MAnagement Technology (chipset driver).
Installing the corect driver from the relevant HP notebook support site SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
Thank you for your time, knowledge and sugestion.
