HP ENVY 17 LEAP MOTION
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened my laptop and heard a sound. I noticed the left hinge sat lower than the right hinge. I also saw the two pieces of the computer on the left upper corner to about half way down the left side had separated. I tried to snap the two pieces together. But the next time I opened the computer, they came apart. The left hinge is still sitting lower than the right hinge. I am afraid of the monitor coming off.  There is no warranty left on the computer.  What do I need to do to fix this problem???? I am at a loss.  This computer is 4 years old, had been in for repairs once when new. I am thinking it is a manufacturing defect, but, since there is no warranty left, I doubt HP will think so.  I am the only one who uses this computer, and it has always been used with care. Do I repair it? Do I get a new one? This was $900 when I bought it new. I never had a computer fall apart on me before. Has anyone else? I couldn't believe it. Please help.
