Hi, I have a HP Laptop. (the model is HP 15-dy0000 Laptop PC) For some reason my CPU Fan is not working. I checked in the SpeedFan program and it said: "CPU Fan: 0 RPM". How can I fix this?

I've used speedfan for a long time but as far as I know there's been no change in the program since 2016. it may have trouble recognizing fans on newer systems.
If the laptop is warm you should be able to feel or sense the heat by holding the exhaust vent near your cheek or ear.

To mitigate the heat problem you should use a laptop cooler.
