Hello and thank you in advance for any help.

My CPU fan has been diagnosed as faulty due to the bearing by a repair shop. I am looking for a replacement but really struggling to find anything. The shop can get it in March/April which is way too much time for me (from China). I am wondering if any of you can help me find a replacement.

The laptop is HP Omen 16-k003nn, ProdID 6X8H3EA#ABB, SN 5CD2314PD4.

Also I would like to know if I monitor the temps of CPU, can i still use the laptop for school as it is the only device I have and my only other option would be to rent/buy another. Would the fans be able to damage any internal components or cause more damage?

I am also attaching an image for reference.  I can open the laptop and try to take apart the fan to see it’s number if that would help.

@Georgi2022,

According to the parts list for your model, your fan's part number is N14087-001. This number is for a kit of CPU and GPU fans.

You can check Amazon and other vendors for fans that can be delivered earlier than March or April.

You can use your notebook while monitoring CPU temperature.

CPUs have built-in protection mechanism that shuts them off automatically if they reach an undesired high temperature.

The service manual shows a fan replacement procedure on pages 47-48.

Preferably, get both the fans replaced, and hopefully the notebook will run fine.
