My laptop has some issues lately, it's slow (as it can't handle windows 10 well), it also shuts down from time to time due to heat issues and my wifi connection drops regulary (my android wifi has a perfect connection though at the same location).
The heat issues ain't caused by the fans, I allready cleaned them multiple time.. it could be related to my bios as my system information says the bios is outdated.
My specs:
Product Name: HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC
Product Number: QH968EA#ABH
Serial Number: [edited]
BIOS: Insyde F.6A, 13-05-2013
Total Memorey: 4 GB RAM
Processor: E2-3000M with Radeon HD Graphics, 1800 MHZ, 2 cores
I allready looked up some things, and I think I can upgrade the processor to an A8-3500M or even an A8-3520 ??
As for the ram, I asume any ddr3 laptop ram will do? I want to upgrade it to 6 or 8 gb.
I'll have a look at the wifi connection later, I allready ordered an USB Wifi dongle with antenna's so I hope I'll have a better connection with that.
Any advice will be appreciated.. PS. I know a new laptop will be a better option, but more costly as well

Here is the Service Manual:
Top compatible processor is an AMD A8-3520M 2.50 GHz processor (1.6 GHz FSB, 4.0 MB L2 cache, quad core, 35 W) 669690-001
You want DDR3-1333
Memory modules (2, DDR3, 10600, 1333 MHz): 4 GB 621569-001
and you can have 2 x 4 gig for 8 gigs total at best.
This laptop will have a wifi whitelist which limits upgrade options so the usb dongle is actually a viable way to go.
