Max is Pentium D 950. The Q6600 may work, no guarantee.

That model shipped only with Pentium 4 processors, but has the 945G chipset which can support one Quad Core processor, the Q6600 Core 2 Quad.
Nothing from HP confirms that the Q6600 will work, and many times despite the capability of the chipset, boards designed for just the P4 on the 945 chipset will not work with Core 2 Duos or Quads.
