I would like to know how I can check if my elitebook fan is working corrrectly.
When I don´t use a cooling pad, it seems to get a tad warm, especially when checking with programmes like HWMonitor.
My fan is either extremely silent or not functioning, as I do not hear it kicking in at all.
The ventilation area is free of dust and if I hang some tissue paper adjacent to the vent grill, it never seems to move from a vertical position...
Thanks.

Additional Information:
Neither Hmonitor, HWMonitor, nor Speedfan detect a fan.
In Bios (Hewlett-Packard L71 ver. 01.39, 26/09/2016) "Fan always on while on AC Power" is checked.
These are values taken with HwMonitor while using a cooling pad under the Laptop
The "PCHZ" temp never varies and I wonder if it is an artifact...
