Hey There. Recently doubled the RAM and Changed the hdd with ssd. Now CPU is bottleneck. Which Model Can I upgrade To ? Is It Safe To Use A 820Q With Power Consumption Of 45 Watts instead Of My 540M With 35W power consumption? thanks

Here is the Service Manual:
3 different motherboards. The 8440p integrated and discrete and then the 8440w workstation.
The i7 Quads are limited to the dedicated video and the workstation. If you have integrated video the best CPU is an i7-620M (dual core).
The 8440p dedicated takes up to an i7-720QM. Not the -820QM.
The i7-620M would be a noticeable upgrade from your i5 with better clock speed and a bigger L3 cache.
