Hi everyone. I'm trying to revive my old hp 530 laptop. I would like to know if it is possible to switch from an "intel celeron 440" to "intel core duo t2600 (obviously I have already updated the bios), without changing the motherboard. Can anyone tell me if the chipset and socket support the core duo t2600? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

You should be able to bump the processor up to the Intel Pentium T1350.
