Hello, I was wondering, if it was possible to upgrade the CPU in my Compaq Presario CQ60-410SV Notebook PC?
Compaq Presario CQ60-410SV Notebook PC
[personal information removed]
Product number:VE733EA
And if so, what processors does the motherboard support?
The current CPU is an AMD Sempron SI - 42, 2.1 GHz ( http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Mobile%20Sempron%20SI-42%20-%20SMSI42SAM12GG.html ) and I would enjoy a bit more power.
Which is the best cpu choice that you would suggest to me?
Thank you in advance.

Here is the support manual for the PC
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02985882
Page 4-44 lists the CPU choices that should work. Pick from the AMD line-up. Since the one in the PC now is almost the bottom of the list, I would think most any one of those would give an improvement.
Being the age of that PC, I would think whatever is available from probably the EBay market.
I'm not an HP employee.
