Hi,

Currently I have the stock CPU i3-3rd generation with 4gb ram (2*2 stock strips).

 

I am willing to upgrade the hardware by CPU, I know I can expand ram till 8gb(in total). But can I upgrade cpu from i3 - 3rd generation to i5-6th generation or higher?

You can't go pass the list on page 1 of the following manual

Please use latest BIOS and RIGHT part # on npage 84 of the manual.
