I have the HP 15-p030nr Beats Special Edition AMD A8, 15.6 Touch-screen Notebook and I have 1.7 GHz and I would like to upgrade to at least 2.2 GHz. Any CPU upgrades I can make and link to me? Thanks!

Hi,

Did you know upgrading AMD APU you may also need to upgrade the motherboard that that is a costly upgrade ? In many case, buying a new machine could be cheaper.

Regards.

Confirming, yes the processor is soldered to the system (mother) board so upgrade is not really economically viable. If you just want it to run faster, consider a solid state drive. Not an easy upgrade, either but far less costly than a new laptop.

I'm sorry you gave yourself the solution and it is not clear what you are asking....what kind of option are you looking for?
