Hello,
I have HP notebook 15 running intel celeron n2840 2,16ghz and I just want to know if I can upgrade that cpu to something like i3, i5 or pentium if that exists on laptops, also my laptop has 4gb of ram, can I upgrade that to 8?

On the processor, no. That is soldered to the motherboard. On memory, yes. There is a single slot that can take up to 8 gigs but you have to remove the motherboard to get to the memory slot:

1. For CPU: no you can't, you need new motherbaord with CPU on it, for examples:

2. For RAM: yes, you can upgrade to 8GB max.

The i3 motherboard would be a major improvement. Can you install it yourself? Otherwise the total cost is going to get out of hand. Yes you can reuse the existing RAM, wifi card, etc. And yes you can install an SSD. You might get out the calculator and figure how much it will cost compared to just getting a new laptop. Yours is 3rd gen series which is not yet quite obsolete, but HP is now selling 7th gen systems.
