Few laptops are made that the CPU and/or graphics can be upgraded.

However, on page 107 of this manual, it does list several different CPU options and it does have a socket based CPU. You might consider looking at the various choices to see if that appeals to you.

Yes CPU is upgradeable as stated above: GPU not so much, i.e. not upgradeable. Also keep in mind that all the processors listed in the Manual may not work on your motherboard. You have to look at the Manual carefully before diving in. If you have a specific question about a specific CPU on your motherboard post back.
