Hello,
I have an HP ZBook 17 G3 laptop with an Intel i7-6820HQ CPU and an NVIDIA M3000M dedicated GPU.
I've run several benchmarks, but my CPU's power consumption never goes above 33 watts, while the GPU runs fine, reaching up to 67 watts. This happens even though the CPU stays cool (temperatures don't exceed 65°C).
Additionally, when I was running benchmarks with ThrottleStop and checking the "Limit Reasons" tab, I noticed that all three sections (Core, CPU, and Ring) consistently showed an "EDP OTHER" error in red throughout the entire benchmark. It seems like something is preventing the CPU from drawing more power.
Now my question is: Is it normal for the CPU's power consumption to stay below 33 watts, even with a 200-watt adapter, especially with this "EDP OTHER" limit appearing?
