Hi, How are you?
I have an HP HP Notebook - 15-rb004ni, My laptop switched off and wouldn't go on again, I took it in to get assessed and they informed me that my CPU is burnt out, I was wondering if my notepad could be brought to HP directly and if my CPU could be replaced? And if so what would the price range from?
Kind Regards
Ashley

Hi, Ashley:
I'm doing fine, and I hope you are too.
This is a peer-to-peer forum.
We do not work for or represent HP.
The CPU is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded or replaced unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of the service manual:
This would probably be a very expensive project and I recommend that you invest the money you would spend on repairing the PC into buying a new one.
If you wish for HP to replace the motherboard, you can contact them beginning at the link below.
