I want to upgrade my CPU from the i5 8265u now mounted on the 8549 motherboard to a i7 8665u CPU. Is this possible by switching the two CPUs or is the CPU now mounted soldered to the motherboard?

No, CPU is integrated to the system board. You have to buy a whole new system board (if available) which contains
(a) Motherboard,
(b) CPU with integrated video,
(c) Dedicated Video card (if applicable),
(d) Operating system (you can't reuse old license).
All above 3 or 4 components are on one piece of hardware called System board. That means you would be able to upgrade to other CPU (if available) but very expensive.
Regards.
