Dear community;
I hope someone here would be able to help me out with my task. Trying to resurrect an old laptop, which I am afraid requires bios update (current is F.2B dated 12/05/2011) ,
The issue is this is a Compaq model CQ62-A10SA, which somehow returns nothing on HP website as far as drivers / bios go.
There are updates for other submodels of CQ62, but not for this particular one.
Unfortunately the HP Softpaq Downloader does not work anymore, so it is also pretty difficult to source anything through there either. I tried bios releases for other CQ62 revisions, but no luck, it is not compatible.
The bios is INSYDE and cannot really source anything.
Please help.

Hi:
HP retires support for consumer model PC's that have reached 10 years of age.
That is why the driver page no longer works. It must have been recently retired and not taken down completely yet.
I can't find anything either.
The latest BIOS update I could find for the CQ62 notebooks with the AMD processors seems to be older than the one you have installed...F.29 and the release date was April 26, 2011.
