HP Pavilion x360 - 15-cr0037wm
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

I have a 15-CR0037WM  and want to use either the USB-C or USB for HDMI output. I bought an adapter but it didn't work. Does CR0037WM  support USB Alt mode at all?

If not, is there a way to get it connected?

Thank you

Kent

Its specs

No, not at all. It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 (Data transfer up to 5 Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

    Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,

Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                            USB to HDMI Adapter

For more connectivity, please use

               True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.
