HP ZBook 15v G5 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm not sure what happened, but I did some Windows Updates recently. I have a HP ZBook 15V G5 running Windows 11. Since the updates, both of my CTRL keys on my keyboard are not working correctly. Please fix.

Hello,

After I updated my BIOS to either from Windows Update Insyde Software 15.38.0.0 was installed 12/13/2023, my CTRL keys stopped working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard devices numerous times on Device Manager to no avail. HP offers no proprietary drivers for the keyboard on their website.
It seems that the keyboard issue has resolved itself when I rolled the BIOS back to F.37 from UEFI.
Please note that a BIOS update, available from Windows Update, I believe causes keyboard issues for the ZBook 15V G5. If a BIOS update with bugs for this model is recommended on HP Support Website or Windows Update, it should be taken down.

Therefore, I would recommend not installing this BIOS update if you have the HP ZBook 15V G5.

Checking Windows Update, Insyde Software - Firmware - 15.38.0.0 was installed 12/13/2023. This must have been BIOS version F.38. Rolling back to version F.37 resolved the problem.
