The ctrl + s command is not working on any application on my laptop. All other commands needing ctrl, like ctrl + c, v, a are working fine. I already tried uninstalling the keyboard driver and rebooting the system but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. Does anyone has any solution?

Thank you for replying,
As I understand this seems to be an issue with the keyboard, as the alternate keyboard works fine.
This is really strange that the letter S and Ctrl keys work fine separately.
In this scenario, I will share you a private message with details. Please watch your inbox for more information.
Let me know if this helps!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂

Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. I see from your post that you are having issues with "Ctrl + S" not working on your keyboard. Don't worry I'll try my best to help you with this.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
What application are you trying to use "Ctrl + S" feature?
Have you tried to use an alternate keyboard and check if that helps? If you don't have an alternate keyboard, please use the on-screen keyboard and check if that works.
Have you checked if the letter S is not working or not?
Could you please respond to this post with the details as this will help me in further assisting you.
Eagerly waiting for your response!
Regards,
Jeet_Singh
