HP Spectre X2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I bought a Cygnet laptop power bank 27k USB-C for my HP Spectre X2 that has a weak battery. It's disappointing to find out that it doesn't work. It does work with my Nintendo Switch and Lenovo laptop and phones but now with my Spectre X2. I've updated Spectre's bios and firmware but it still doesn't fix it. Is there any hope to get it to work? Hay s anyone have any success with using a third party laptop powerbank with HP Spectre X2? I like my spectre but the battery is a real let down. I was hoping that my powerbank can extend the usefulness of this laptop. I will really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Before buying accessories, you need to have a COMPATIBLE check.

First of all, thanks BH for your quick reply.

My machine is HP Spectre x2 - 12 - a004tu.

I did made some search on what compatible powerbank I can use with my machine and I did not find any conclusive answer. The HP powerbank 20k which cost around $250 does not seem to be a practical option for me so I went with somethink that has a good review and cost just half of HP. At first I was under the impression that my unit supports USB PD as it is charged through the 2 usb c ports.
