Hello,
I am no stranger to laptops, I work with them every day as a Network Engineer... however, I have never had a laptop with a battery recalibration message? that's a new one for me. I have looked into the cause and gone through what is required and it hasn't worked.
Charged (100%)
Primary Battery: Calibrate
The battery is functioning correctly, but it needs to be calibrated. You will experience shorter battery life between charges if the battery is not calibrated.
Verify Battery Calibration
Perform the following steps to validate your battery calibration.
- Connect the AC Adapter.
- Fully charge your battery (99%-100%).
- Keep the AC Adapter connected to the computer for 3 hours with the battery fully charged (99%-100%).
- Launch HP Battery Check using HP Support Assistant to validate the results.
