Envy x 360 -15m-bp112x
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It all started with the error described in the subject: Camera not found. I wanted to update the camera drivers, but after doing this, I don’t see the driver in the device manager.

I installed hp suppor assist and then installed a suggested system update. After this my camera worked, but not my sound and I had other errores. Then I reset the PC and installed Windows again. Now I have the issue with the camera again.

Could you please help me? Thanks!

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Since you just reset the PC, I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

Hello!

Thanks for your reply.

I have just done this and I the hp support assistant says I don´t have any updates. I reset my PC on Saturday. I installed a driver on Sunday and started working, and now again it doesnt work. I tried with the same driver but I wasn't successful. I tried with the other driver that is in the HP webpage and I got this message "Can not install OEM driver".

What should I do?

Thanks!

I'm trying to install 10.0.15063.11299 Rev.E and I receive the message "Cannot install OEM driver".

I installed this one 10.0.15063.20005 Rev.C on sunday and it worked until today. I installed this again today but it doesn't work. How do I know I'm installing the right driver?

Did you run the HPSA after resetting the Notebook?

Yes, I did! And there are no pending updates.

Then when I install driver Windows 10 v1703, after restarting, the driver is not in the device manager. So, I tried installing driver Windows 10 v1709, but I couldn´t and got an error message "can not install OEM driver".

2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Thank you

I'd like to!

But my guarantee expired a year ago and I don't find another way to get support. I'd really like to get hp suppor from an engineer.

Today suddenly the camera worked for a while, then I started a zoom meeting, and suddenly it stopped working.

Thanks!

If the Notebook is out of warranty, you may be charged for the service. I have sent a private message with the contact information of the HP technical support team in your region. Kindly check the same. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
