Good day!
There was a need to expand memory. The laptop has a 250 GB SSD. I hardly understand how this can be done, so I ask for help.
Tell me, is it possible to install an HDD here as well? As far as I understand, it is usually installed from the top right (photo 1), but there is no connection port.

Hi,
So your notebook has 12 GB of RAM and 256GB M2 PCIe NVMe SSD
You can upgrade to max 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x16GB)
On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to install RAM
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06691790.pdf
The best idea if you need extra storage is to upgrade the M2 SSD to a higher capacity SSD (no limit to capacity)
You can install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your desired brand and capacity
Example
On page 47 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive.
You can create a bootable USB drive with the OS on it before replacing the SSD and use to reinstall Windows
It is possible to insert a 2.5" SATA 3 hard drive but you will need to purchase bracket and cable.
Hope it helps,
David
