My spacebar is sticking on my almost new, refurbished x360. I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find the answer to this simple question. Can the keys be snapped off without breaking for cleaning or not?

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are having issues with the Spacebar on your notebook keyboard. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
The entire keyboard has to be replaced.
I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for further assistance. If your product is Out of warranty then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.
They might have multiple options to help you on this.
Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
Cheers

Hi,
The keys do actually pop off from the keyboard. However, they have small plastic wings which are easily broken. The spacebar should be one of the easier and less fragile keys since it is held in place with small metal rod. You sbould removd by applying pressure from the side of they key in upper corners using a small flat headed screwdriver znd avoid sticking to far under the key. You can even find replacement keys online if the key breaks.
Anyway before removing the key you could try cleaning under the key using thin dental floss cotton sticks and isopropyl alcohol.
Hope it helps,
David
