I want to install a M2 SSD in my hp aforementioned model Laptop. But I saw in the manual it was written that this model doesn't support m2 SSD. But I dissambled my laptop and saw the M2 port is available. Please help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

It will only support M.2 Sata according to the manual because your model is cc0xx, not cc1xx.

Also, If you look at the port on the motherboard, it will be the B keyed (6 pin) M.2 port, not M keyed.

Thanks for your kind and quick help.

Actually I saw the same manual. What I was confused that it was written as "NVMe drive for 15cc1xx & 15cc6xx".

But my laptop is 15cc054. Is it a match of the mentioned models?

Or my laptop will only support sata III M2 SSD?

I actually don't know much about SSD, Please correct me if there is mistake.
