Can I upgrade my RAM or SSD?

Hi,

You can not upgrade the RAM as it is onboard (soldered to motherboard), so there are no slots which makes the RAM non-replacable or upgradable.

You can upgrade the M2 SSD with a larger capacity M2 SATA3 SSD (form factor 2280). On page 32 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the SSD.

You will need to reinstall the OS either by migrating an image, using HP recovery disks or by downloading media creation tool from Microsoft ( before replacing drive), running and creating a bootable pendrive with the OS on it. Then use this drive to perform clean install.

You can also look at these HP videos for that model which can help:

Hope it help,

Will doing that stop the messages that my memory is full on the computer

Yes, if the hard drive is full or nearly full you get constant messages that it is full. A 128GB drive is quite small, especially if you have many picturs videos etc... on the PC. You could also transfer all your personal files to an external drive and uninstall any unused programs to get more space on the drive which would also stop the messages.
