I have my HP Notebook - 15g-dr0006tx with 8GB RAM, Now my question is, Is my laptop can be extendable to 16GB..?

Yes see p. 33 here:
2 slots. Yours has a single 8 gb module of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM in one slot and an empty slot. You can add 8 gb to have 16 total. It could actually run 32 gigs if you are so inclined.
