HP Pavilion Plus 14 inch Laptop PC 14-eh1000 (77N97AV)

Hi everyone,

I have an HP Pavilion Plus 14 laptop, Product Number: 800P0EA#ABU, with the following specs:

  • Intel Core i5-1340P (13th Gen)

  • 8 GB RAM (2×4 GB SK Hynix 6400 MHz DDR5 in both slots)

  • Windows 11 Home 64-bit (Version 26100.4351)

I'd like to upgrade the RAM to 16 GB (preferably 2×8 GB DDR5 6400), but I have a few questions before I proceed:

  1. Is RAM upgrade officially supported on this model?

  2. Is the RAM user-accessible, or will opening the back panel void the warranty?

  3. Does HP officially support 32 GB (2×16 GB), or is 16 GB the maximum limit?

  4. Are there any precautions or disassembly guides you recommend?

I'd appreciate any guidance or confirmation from HP support or fellow users who have upgraded this model.

Hi:

You have a notebook where the memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

Models came configured with motherboards that came with either 8 GB or 16 GB of onboard memory.
