Hp Spectre ae0xx

I have a HP Spectre with an Intel i7-8550u cpu processor. Am I able to upgrade the cpu?

@Izaac , welcome back to the forum.

 

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop.  In Chapter 4, Removal and replacement preliminary requirements, Page 29, it lists all of the components that can be replaced.  The processor is not in that list.  Also  in the Illustrated parts catalog, Page 21, it states that the System board (includes processor and replacement thermal material).  This tells me that the processor is soldered to the system board.  Therefore, the processor can't be upgraded.
