Hi,
If you have an Intel Core CPU in the machine you can upgrade the RAM to 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM. There are two slots and at the moment you have 2x4GB, so you will need to replace the modules with 2x8GB.
Example
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfra32a
On page 49 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM.
You can upgrade the M2 SSD to an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your preferred brand and capacity. There is no limit to capacity.

Is it the following machine ?
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06911796
As you can see, it already has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. Anyway, your machine may have lower specs
1. RAM: No you can't upgrade because it is ON BOARD, not upgradable.
2. STORAGE: You can upgrade to 512GB or 1TB using
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/970-evo-nvme-m-2-ssd-500gb-mz-v7e500bw/

https://www.centrecom.com.au/crucial-p1-500gb-3d-nand-nvme-pcie-m2-ssd - This is a P1 is this OK?

OK.
The Kingston RAM should run well.
I have used this one a few times. (a cheaper one)

The P1 would be one of the slower ones. The Samsung ones are considered among the best.
Take care,
