Hello, at the moment I have 1TB HDD, but wanting to add SSD without removing HDD. I disassembled laptop and I only found one port which I think that I could install m.2 SSD but I'm not sure since no info on HP official specs page about that. Is there a chance I can use that port or that's just something else, which leaves me in situation to only replace HDD with SSD?

You can plug in the SATA M.2 into your port. The B + M keyed edge with three "prongs" still fits into the two openings in your M.2 port. The ones you ask about are NVME M.2 types with "M" key and also slide into the slot but in your case I am pretty sure the system will not "see" it:

Note these are all the same width so fit into the same slot.

Yes that is an M.2 slot. Here is the Service Manual which covers your model series and HP has posted on your model's home page.

Manual

Look at pages 1-13 and note several model series are covered. However, it starts with the 15-bc3xxx series and does not seen to cover the 15-bc2xxx series of which yours is a part. Note that the 7th gen system, the -bc3xxx can only use SATA M.2 SSDs while the 8th gen and 9th gen systems can also use PCIe/NVME M.2 SSDs. I believe you can only use a SATA type M.2 SSD since your laptop has an Intel Core 7th gen processor. However, this would allow you to have an SSD without getting rid of the hard drive, which is what you want to do.

So, my advice is to get a SATA M.2 such as the Samsung Evo 860.

But where should I plug it? There is only this port on the photo and it doesn't look like the SSD you sent would fit in; or it would work anyway?

I thought about this one: https://www.ekupi.hr/SSD-256GB-Transcend-110S-M2-2280-NVMe-1371552.aspx

or this one (it doesn't say if it's sata) https://www.ekupi.hr/Transcend-256GB-TS256GMTE110S-SSD-disk-1343205.aspx
